At Computer One, we believe the only real measure of IT is how it contributes to your business’s performance. Stable and effective IT infrastructure is achieved through effective management, monitoring and compliance to governed standards. At Computer One, we measure performance from the end user perspective and in turn report conformance back to the business in a meaningful manner. IT systems can be supported through a variety of different mechanisms and costs, but the challenge is to deliver services to the Service Level Objective or performance standard stipulated and agreed by the business. Measuring how long it should take to perform basic workflow, and ensuring that the performance is achieved on an ongoing basis day in, day out relates directly the profitability of the business. Computer One as part of the IT department take a stake in that requirement.
